Nikki Walsh

M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Nikki has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 22 years and has been a speech therapist at BHPT since we opened in July 2019. After working as an SLP in the schools for 20 years, Nikki felt the Lord calling her to use her gifts to serve Bartlesville, the community where she grew up and lives today! Nikki LOVES being a speech therapist and says that the best and worst part of her job is when a kiddo meets their goals and she has to say goodbye: “I am so proud of them, but I miss them tons!” Nikki has 3 kids and loves the family-focused, kid-loving atmosphere at BHPT. When she isn’t driving her own kids to soccer practice, you can find Nikki reading mystery books, listening to true crime podcasts, or making her amazing white chicken chili. Nikki also speaks Spanish and sign language, loves to sing, and is active in her church. We are so grateful to Nikki for all she does for our team and her clients!

Suzanne Lauritsen

M.S. CCC-SLP

Suzanne practiced as a full time Speech Pathologist for 4 years and has done contract work off and on since starting her family. She loves working with children and giving them the tools to be successful communicators. Suzanne also has a passion for working with parents and caregivers to create a home environment that provides amazing language learning opportunities for children. Suzanne’s favorite thing about BHPT is how deeply the therapists and staff care about the needs of each child, and how hard they work to help each kiddo achieve their goals. While she is one of our wonderful feeding therapists, Suzanne also enjoys diving into early language and apraxia interventions. In her free time, Suzanne likes to dance, crochet, and cross her fingers that the Dallas Cowboys win!

Chandra Hindman

M.S. CCC-SLP

Chandra worked as an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist for 14 years, and has been at BHPT for one year. She loves being able to empower little ones to find their “voice” – however that may look – as communication is in everything we do! Chandra especially loves working with children with hearing loss and feeding difficulties. She loves the collaborative and helpful environment at BHPT, and believes that our team exemplifies “iron sharpens iron”. A mom herself, Chandra spends her time outside of work driving her three kids to their sports practices and youth groups. Chandra keeps our team laughing and pushes us all to be better clinicians and people!
