Our therapists strive to help each child grow developmentally, play, explore, engage in new activities, develop new life skills, communicate with the world around the, and ultimately increase their independence.

OUR OWNER
Laura Rix
Owner, Founder, OTR/L
Laura is the owner of Bartlesville Hope Pediatric Therapy. She grew up in Bartlesville and fell in love with pediatric OT at the age of 15. Laura pursued her passion, graduating from KU Med, and has been in the pediatric field for over 30 years. She has had the privilege of walking alongside many families through the years and desires to serve this community she loves by building a therapy program that provides access for every child who needs therapy services as well as HOPE. Laura has extensive training in neurodiverse diagnoses, congenital birth diagnoses, trauma-based Reactive Attachment Disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, ADD, sensory processing difficulties, Floortime, and learning disabilities. Laura is a mom of four amazing, unique kids, one of which has Type 1 diabetes. Quirky fun facts: Laura loves to have her hands in the dirt with flowers/plants and also loves creating, painting, or coloring. She is also known to unexpectedly fall, trip, and walk into walls, doors, and other objects. Spilling drinks and flinging food are her specialties.
